Highest award of the Romanian Socialist Republic, seldom awarded. Star in silver gilt, set with genuine white sapphires, 47mm. Suspension in silver gilt, set with synthetic/imitation red stone, 44.1mm wide. Unmarked, however made exclusively by the Romanian State mint. In very fine condition. Very scarce.
