Canada, Commonwealth. A Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Medal 1952-1977

In silver, measuring 32 mm in diameter, tarnishing evident on the obverse and edge, spotting on the reverse, original ribbon with pinback, better than very fine. In its cardboard box of issue, cypher on ERII and dated 1952-1977 on the lid, red felt recessed medal bed, edge scuffing on the exterior, box also better than very fine.

Footnote: This medal was awarded to Canadians who have made a significant contribution to their fellow citizens, their community or to Canada on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Her Majesty's Accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada. The recipients were selected by a number of partner organizations in every field of Canadian Life. Approximately 30,000 medals were awarded, including 7,000 to the military.
