(Orden Jugoslavenske krune). Instituted April 5, 1930 by King Alexander I. In silver, a white enamel cross with four smooth rays culminating in ball finials, segments of green enamelled wreath in each quadrant, the obverse medallion features a superimposed crown with red enamel cap in the center on a white field, the reverse presents the inscription 3-X 1929 on a white field, the cross is surmounted by a green enamelled wreath, and worn on an original blue triangular ribbon, measures 42.86mm (w) x 58.26mm (h – inclusive of integral ball atop wreath), weighs 32.4 grams (including ribbon)small areas of enamel damage in cross and wreath, dark patina, remains in better than very fine condition.
Contained in its original case of issue, featuring a blue leatherette exterior inscribed JUGOSLAVENSKA KRUNA V, the interior lid is marked HUGUENIN FRERES & Co, with a dark blue recessed medal bed, measures 70mm (w) x 127mm (l) x 22mm (d), light wear along the exterior edges and lid, hinge and clasp functional, in very fine condition.
