(Ordensschnalle). A medal bar for a Wehrmacht serviceman with distinguished NSDAP and civil defence service. It features four decorations, including:

1. A War Merit Cross II Class, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, without visible marks, measuring 48.62 mm (w) x 48.98 mm (h), in near mint condition.

2. An NSDAP Long Service Award, II Class for 15 Years, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with blue enameled arms set within a ribbed and silvered frame, the arms joined together through the quadrants by radiant sun rays, the obverse with a central blue enameled disc set within a circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a central blue enameled disc bearing a silvered inscription of “TREUE FÜR FÜHRER UND VOLK” (“LOYALTY FOR FÜHRER AND PEOPLE”), unmarked, measuring 42.23 mm (w) x 46.52 mm (h), in extremely fine condition

3. An NSDAP Long Service Award, III Class for 10 Years, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms set within a ribbed frame, the arms joined together through the quadrants by radiant sun rays, the obverse bearing a central circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central circular oak leaf wreath, surrounding a raised inscription of “TREUE FÜR FÜHRER UND VOLK” (“LOYALTY FOR FÜHRER AND PEOPLE”), unmarked, measuring 42.85 mm (w)x 47.06 mm (h), in near mint condition.

4. An Air Defence Honour Decoration, II Class, constructed of aluminum, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the obverse bearing a central raised mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “FÜR VERDIENSTE IM LUFTSCHUTZ” (“FOR MERIT IN AIR DEFENCE”), the reverse bearing a central raised date of “1938”, unmarked, measuring 38.42 mm (w) x 43.92 mm (h), in near mint condition.

All suspended from a 120 mm-long magnetic metal bar with a horizontal pinback and dark grey wool reverse liner, a high-quality assembly in near mint condition.
