Germany, Imperial. A First War Set of Mugs Featuring Hindenburg and Kaiser Wilhelm II, by Furstenberg

Two cups, one featuring a sepia toned portrait of Hindenburg surrounded by a gilt wreath, with additional wreath depictions around the body, a gold band on the interior lip of the much and on the exterior of the handle, the base is marked F with an iron cross and dated 1914/15/16, measures 112mm (w – including handle) x 91mm (h), light scratches to gilt around handle and lip, remains in extremely fine condition.

The second cup features a sepia toned portrait of Kaiser Wilhelm II opposite the handle, surrounded by a gilt wreath with additional wreath depictions around the body, a gold band on the interior lip of the much and on the exterior of the handle, the base is marked F with an iron cross and dated 1914/15/16, numbered A46, measures 112mm (w – including handle) x 91mm (h), scratches to gilt around handle and lip, remains in near extremely fine condition.
