In porcelain, a large vase featuring a black iron cross motif surrounded by a green enamelled wreath, with an additional wreath around the base of the body, a small fillet is detailed with a gilt ring, sitting on a hollow square foot, the interior is plain, the bottom is marked with the 1908-1922 Thomas Bavaria, measures 157mm (w) x 244mm (h), light wear to the gilt around the lip, small marks throughout, no chips or cracks, remains in extremely fine condition.
Footnote: Fritz Thomas founded the Porzellan fabrik Thomas & Ens in Marktredwitz in 194. In 1908, Rosenthal took over the company, and production in Marktredwitz ceased in 1960.
