1. Royal Army Medical Corps Helmet Plate: three-piece construction, badge in die-stamped bronze gilt, the centrepiece consisting of a voided white metal plate with red enamels and backed by a bronze plate, unmarked, measuring 106 mm (w) x 130 mm (h), both lugs and pin intact.

2. Rifle Brigade (The Prince Consort's Own) Helmet Plate: in patinated bronze, voided, unmarked, measuring 75.8 mm (w) x 95.7 mm (h), all three lugs intact, two of which are bent back, with a fabric-backer insert in black felt to highlight the voided areas.
