In Silver, a Maltese cross in red enamels with a white enamel cross in the center, reverse is plain, surmounted by a Second Republic-style Austrian national eagle circumscribed by state shields, measures 46.2mm (w) x 63.8mm (h), weighs 27.0 grams, worn on a correct triangular ribbon, enamels intact, in extremely fine condition.

Contained in its original case, red leatherette exterior, impressed with Austrian emblem on the lid, interior lid marked ANTON REITTERER, base features a black velvet recessed medal bed, measures 75mm (w) x 130mm (h) x 27mm (d), hinge and clasp functional, in extremely fine condition.
