(Ehrenzeichen vom Roten Kreuz). Instituted in 1923. Multipiece construction, in silver featuring a red, white and green enamelled cross, a green enamel wreath sits atop the arms, the center medallion presents a red enamelled cross on white field, surrounded by the inscription PATRIA AC HUMANITATI, the reverse medallion presents the dates 1864 1914, marked A on ring denoting Vienna manufacture, measures 37.0mm (w) x 48.5mm (h), weighs 26.3 grams, enamel chips evident to arms, worn on correct triangular ribbon, in very fine condition.

Contained in its original case of issue, red leatherette exterior marked Patriae ac Humanitati 1864-1914 K.D., the interior lid is maker marked G.A. SCHEID WIEN, a crème coloured velvet medal bed, measures 60mm (w) x 110mm (h) x 21mm (d), light wear, hinge and clasp functional, remains in very fine condition.
