Germany, SS. A Wehrpaß to SS-Sturmmann Bernhard Kranzmaier, SS-Totenkopf-Wachbataillon Sachsenhausen

(SS-Wachbataillon Sachsenhausen Wehrpaß). Constructed of a card stock binding with 54 paginated interior pages lightly filled with handwritten and stamped entries, retaining a certified photo of the bearer, measuring 105 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

Footnote: Bernard Kranzmaier was born on 2 May 1903 in Schwindkirchen, Muhldorf, Bavaria. He was employed as a carpenter and joiner, and was conscripted into military service in Traunstein on both 12 September 1930 and 6 August 1943. He entered SS-Totenkopf-Wachbataillon service in July 1944, with duties at Sachsenhausen recorded through November 1944. He was promoted to SS-Sturmmann on 15 July 1944.
