Germany, SS. A Waffen-SS Officer’s Belt Buckle, by Overhoff & Cie

(Waffen-SS Gürtelschnalle für Offiziere). Constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a raised SS-style German national eagle, set within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “MEINE EHRE HEIßT TREUE” (“MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY”), the reverse with a clop, marked with an SS insignia, a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo, and the logo of Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid, measuring 50 mm in diameter, the reverse loop and claws have broken off, in very fine condition.
