Germany, SS. A Waffen-SS EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle, by Overhoff & Cie

(Waffen-SS Gürtelschnalle für Mannschaften). Constructed of nickel-silver, the obverse bearing a raised SS-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, set within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “MEINE EHRE HEIßT TREUE” (“MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY”), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, with a partially-visible Overhoff & Cie maker’s mark, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), some scratching is visible to the base metal and the Overhoff & Cie logo has been deliberately etched out, in near extremely fine condition.
