Germany, SS. A Waffen-SS EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle

(Waffen-SS Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised SS-style German national eagle, set within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “MEINE EHRE HEIßT TREUE” (“MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY”), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), the obverse swastika has been deliberately etched out and minor loss of finish is evident throughout, in fair condition.
