(Verwundetenabzeichen). A pair of Wound Badges, including:

1. A Black Grade award, constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36.98 mm (w) x 44.38 mm (h), weighing 13.8 grams, with moderate loss of finish evident throughout, in very fine condition.

2. A Silver Grade award, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting a rounded catch, unmarked, measuring 36.70 mm (w) x 44.30 mm (h), weighing 25.5 grams, with loss of silver finish evident throughout, in very fine condition.
