Germany, Heer. A Lot of Armoured Reconnaissance Oberleutnant Uniform Insignia

(Heer Insignien für Oberleutnant der Aufklärung). A lot of four Heer uniform insignia for an Armoured Reconnaissance Oberleutnant, including:

1. A matching set of collar tabs, each constructed of black wool with buckram cores, trimmed with golden-yellow piping, and pinned with magnetic metal Danziger-style Totenkopf cyphers, both unmarked and measuring 32 mm (w) x 70 mm (l), with minor surface oxidation visible to the cyphers, in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.

2. A matching set of shoulder boards, each constructed of golden-yellow wool with card stock cores, topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping, and pinned with gilded rank pips and numerals “8” (Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung 8), both unmarked and measuring 30 mm (w) x 110 mm (l), in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.
