Constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a raised and rightward-facing busts of Tsar Alexis and Tsarina Natalya Naryshkina in full imperial regalia, circumscribed by name and title in Latin, the reverse bearing a detailed image of an angelic figure handing a child the Tsarina, in turn flanked by a shield bearing a Romanov coat of arms, circumscribed by a Latin dedication to Russia’s future and the name and birthdate of the future Tsar Peter I (“the Great”), unmarked, measuring 66 mm in diameter, demonstrating minor and age-appropriate surface wear, in near extremely fine condition.
