Constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward-facing profile of Tsar Alexander II, circumscribed by name and title in Russian Cyrillic, in turn surrounded by birth and death dates, the reverse bearing a central and finely-detailed depiction of the Monument to Tsar Alexander III, formerly located on the grounds of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow, circumscribed by a description and date of “1912”, the obverse bearing faint and illegible traces of an engraver’s mark, measuring 78 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
