(Flugzeugführer und Beobachterabzeichen). A post war representation by Rothe, consisting of bronze gilt badge featuring a gilt bronze eagle clutching gilt lightning bolts, fastened onto an open-ended oval shaped and white enamelled laurel wreath via two rivets visible on the reverse, towards the top of the badge is a white enamelled shield featuring the black enameled cipher of Karl I, while the bottom of the wreath is decorated with the coat of arms of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the reverse offers a single vertical pin, measures 58.4mm (w) x 66.4mm (h), weighs 32.0 grams, enamel wear to wreath and coat of arms, remains in very fine condition.
