Germany, Heer. A Mixed Lot of Officer Uniform Insignia

(Heer Insignien). A mixed lot of Heer Officer uniform insignia, including:

1. A pair of collar tabs, each constructed of dark green wool and topped by dual machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire insignia bisected by bullion wire tresses, both unmarked and measuring 40 mm (w) x 72 mm (l), with some oxidation visible to the wire features, in uniform-removed and very fine condition.

2. A set of Infantry Oberstleutnant shoulder boards, each constructed of white wool with buckram cores, topped by four bands of interwoven silver aluminum wire piping, and pinned with a silvered gilded rank pip and gilded numerals “48”,both unmarked and measuring 35 mm (w) x 115 mm (l), in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.
