United Kingdom. A First World War Belt with Souvenir Buttons and Cap Badges

Constructed of khaki-tan canvas, with the exterior of each end featuring brown leather straps and a magnetic metal buckle for secure closure, with four integral pockets closing with brown leather flaps and reinforced buttonholes meeting non-magnetic metal studs, fastened with 25 assorted British and Empire cap badges, collar insignia, and uniform buttons, with examples from the First World War and preceding decades, unmarked, measuring 7 cm (w) x 82 cm (l) with minor material fatigue and loss of finish evident to the belt and decorations, respectively, an interesting veteran’s assembly in near extremely fine condition.
