Württemberg, Kingdom. A Pickelhaube Plate

(Württemberg Helmemblem). Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse consisting of a central Württemberg coat of arms, flanked by a lion and stag rampant, situated above a banner bearing an inscription of “FURCHTLOS UND TREW” (“FEARLESS AND LOYAL”), unmarked, measuring 12 cm (w) x 9.5 cm (h), missing its reverse attachment loops, in very fine condition.
