(Verwundetenabzeichen der Marine in Silber). Constructed of vaulted magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval chain link wreath, surrounding a central raised anchor overlaid by crossed swords on a pebbled background, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 39.73 mm (w) x 45.77 mm (h), weighing 7.1 grams, an unusual example in extremely fine condition.
