Russia, Imperial. A Prize Medal from the Kharkov Institute of Agriculture and Agricultural Industry, by Pyotr Stadnitsky

Constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a raised and detailed depiction of farm equipment and agricultural goods, circumscribed by a Russian Cyrillic dedication from the Kharkov Institute of Agriculture and Agricultural Industry, the reverse featuring a central void set within a circular oak leaf wreath, the former presumably for the addition of a dedication to a recipient, the obverse maker marked “П. СТАДНИЦКІЙ” for St. Petersburg-based medalist and sculptor Pyotr Stadnitsky, measuring 64 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
