Russia, Imperial. A Saint George Cross for Non-Christians in Gold, II Class, c.1925

A lovely decoration, likely of French manufacture and empire production, die struck, in solid 14K Gold (tested, unmarked), presenting a cross pattee with double headed eagles in each center medallion, the reverse is engraved 18 on the 3 o’clock arm, and shows the 2 CTE II, measures 33.0mm (w) x 39.5mm (h – inclusive of ring), weighs 11.4 grams, the reverse of the 9 o’clock arm has been erased, remains in very fine condition.
