In Gold, a lovely white and red enamelled cross, displaying detailed Gold royal crowns in each quadrant, obverse centre presents the royal cipher of Christian V, with the inscription GUD OG KONGEN (GOD AND THE KIND) on its arms, the reverse centre displays the crowned W, with the crowned F VI on the twelve o’clock arm, the dates 1219, 1671, and 1808 appear on the other arms, surmounted by the royal cipher of Frederick VII crowned with the distinctive royal crown, unmarked, measures 27.9mm (w) x 56.5mm (h – inclusive of cross adorned ball suspension on crown), weighs 16.2 grams including ribbons, cypher has been resoldered to the cross, enamel loss on 12 o’clock arm, ribbon showing wear, remains in better than very fine condition.
