Germany, Third Reich. A Lot of Honour Crosses of the German Mother, All Grades

(Ehrenkreuze der Deutschen Mutter). A lot of three Honour Crosses of the German Mother, all constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels and with silver and gilded finishing where applicable, on loops for suspension from period original ribbons, all consisting of a Latin Cross with arms joined together through the quadrants by stylized sun rays, the obverse of each with blue and white enameled arms, with central white enameled discs bearing black swastikas, circumscribed by raised inscriptions of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse of each bearing etched institution dates of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and signatures of the Führer, all unmarked and measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), all demonstrating minor loss of finisha and flecking of the enamels, with a chip visible to the six o’clock arm of the Gold award, in overall better than very fine condition.
