Germany, Weimar Republic. A Reichswehr EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle

(Reichsheer Gürtelschnalle für Mannschaften). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised Reichswehr-style German national eagle, set within a circular ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) and laurel branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), demonstrating some verdigris to the base metal and with some adhesive remnants visible to the reverse, in better than very fine condition.
