Prussia, Kingdom. A Garde Infantry Pickelhaube Plate

(Preußen Helmemblem). Constructed of brass, the obverse consisting of a crowned Prussian imperial eagle clutching a sword and sceptre, overlaid by a banner bearing an inscription of “MIT GOTT FÜR KOENIG UND VATERLAND” (“WITH GOD FOR KING AND FATHERLAND”), unmarked, measuring 19 cm (w) x 11 cm (h), missing its reverse attachment loops, in very fine condition.
