Poland, Republic. An Order of Polonia Restituta, Grand Cross

(Order Odrodzenia Polski). Instituted in 1921. Type I (1918-1939). In bronze gilt, a white enamelled Maltese cross with small ball finials, the obverse medallion featuring a white enamel eagle on a red field, surrounded by a blue enamel ring inscribed POLONIA RESTITVTA, the reverse medallion features the date 1918 on a red field, measures 68.35mm (w) x 67.50mm (h), weighs 54.3 grams, enamels intact, showing small cracks, scratches to reverse arms, remains in very fine condition.

Accompanied by a full length red sash, in very fine condition.
