A mixed lot of seven shoulder boards, including a Luftwaffe Flight Personnel Leutnant shoulder board, constructed of a golden-yellow wool base with a card stock care and topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 115 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition; a set of Sicherheitsdienst (SD) Oberwachtmeister shoulder boards, each constructed of a green cotton-blended base with a card stock core, trimmed with two bands of silver aluminum wire piping interspersed with black chevrons, and topped by two bands of dark brown piping, both unmarked and measuring 35 mm (w) x 105 mm (l), with evidence of insignia removal in addition to minor material fatigue and the remnants of an adhesive from previous display, in overall very fine condition; an Imperial Leutnant shoulder board, constructed of red wool with a card stock core and magnetic metal wire reinforcement, topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire interspersed with black chevrons, the reverse with an integral strap, unmarked, measuring 30 mm (w) x 124 mm (l), with some material fatigue evident, in near extremely fine condition; an East German NVA shoulder board, constructed of green cotton base, topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping, pinned with three gilded bronze rank pips, and with a reverse cotton strap, unmarked, measuring 34 mm (w) x 105 mm (l), in extremely fine condition, and; a set of Czechoslovakian Officer’s shoulder boards, each constructed of red doeskin wool with black wool underlays and topped by a gold bullion wire tresse with a horizontal chevron-style design, the reverse of each with an integral strap, both unmarked and measuring 55 mm (w) x 122 mm (l), with the remnants of an adhesive from previous display evident to the reverse of both, in addition to slight mothing, in overall near extremely fine condition.
