Austria, Imperial. An Order of the German Knights, Marian Knight Cross

Instituted February 17, 1806. In silver, a black and white enamelled Latin cross, the obverse medallion featuring a red enamelled cross on a white field, surrounded by a dark blue enamelled ring inscribed ORDO TEUT HUMANITATI, the reverse bears the year 1871, measures 34.7mm (w) x 45.5mm (h), weighs 17.5 grams including ribbon, worn on the original trifold ribbon, small areas of enamel wear to the obverse enamel ring, remains in near extremely fine condition.
