Instituted 19 June 1923. Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from a period original mis-matched tri-fold ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing a central ribbed disc overlaid by a Hungarian Cross, set within a circular laurel leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a central disc with a pebbled border, overlaid by a raised inscription of “SI DEUS PRO NOBIS QUIS CONTRA NOS” (“IF GOD IS WITH US WHO CAN BE AGAINST US?”) with a date of “1922”, unmarked, measuring 42.52 mm (w) x 47.08 mm (h), weighing 28.6 grams, the suspension loop has been replaced, in near extremely fine condition.
