Five decorations, worn on a medal bar measuring 176mm (w) x 100mm (h – to base of OBE), the reverse with a horizontal bar, the bar marked “THE VICTORY” PAT. No 1019533/16,

An Order of the British Empire, Military Division, Member, in silver, presenting a cross with surmounting crown, the reverse with the cypher GRI and silver hallmarks denoting Sterling, lion mark denoting London, date mark denoting 1919, with maker mark of SG (Garrard), worn on a military ribbon, light wear and scratches on obverse, lovely patina, remains in very fine condition.

A 1914-1915 Star, in bronze, the reverse impressed MAJOR J.M. DUNCAN. R.A.M.C, worn on original ribbon with light wear, lovely patina, showing light scratches and wear on the obverse and reverse, remains in very fine condition.

British War Medal, in silver, rim impressed MAJOR J.M. DUNCAN., worn on original ribbon, dark patina, slight knocks around the rim, very fine condition.

A Victory Medal, in bronze gilt, rim impressed J.M. DUNCAN., worn on original ribbon with MID oak leaf device, light wear and scattered gilt wear, in very fine condition.

A Territorial Decoration, in silver, the obverse presenting the crowned cypher of King George V, surrounded by a wreath, the reverse with silver hallmarks denoting Sterling, lion mark denoting London, date mark denoting 1919, with maker mark of SG (Garrard), worn on original ribbon with silver bar with floral decorations, dark patina, in very fine conditions.

Footnote: Major J.M Duncan embarked on February 27, 1915. He served with the Royal Army Medical Corps, and received his 1914/15 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal on September 29, 1924.
