Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, around a central Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 42.53 mm (w) x 54.13 mm (h), weighing 30.0 grams, minor loss of finish is evident the the hinge demonstrates minor repairs, in near extremely fine condition.
