Finland, Republic. An Order of Liberty, IV Class Cross with Military Decoration

Constructed of patinated magnetic iron, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with Military Decoration, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse overlaid by a silvered swastika and bearing a central raised rosette, the reverse bearing a central impressed date of “1941”, with two visible rivets securing the obverse rosette in place, unmarked, measuring 38.94 mm (w) x 42.62 mm (h), weighing 25.2 grams (inclusive of ribbon and device), in extremely fine condition.
