Includes: 1. Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Type VI (Орден Трудового Красного Знамени). Instituted in 1928. Four-piece construction, ring reverse, in silver gilt with red, white and blue enamels, mint marked "МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР" (Monetny Dvor) and number engraved "905725" on the reverse, measuring 37 mm (w) x 48 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, intact enamels, original ribbon, mounted to a five-sided magnetic metal suspension with pinback. 2. Medal for Bravery, Type II (Медаль за отвагу). Instituted in 1938. In silver with red enamels, un-numbered, measuring 37 mm (w) x 42 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, original ribbon, mounted to a five-sided aluminum suspension with pinback. Both exhibiting intact enamels and light contact overall, together, near extremely fine. Footnotes: 1. The Order of the Red Banner of Labour was instituted on September 7, 1928 and was awarded to individuals or organizations for meritorious services in production, research and public administration. 2. The Medal for Bravery was instituted on October 17, 1938 and was awarded for personal bravery in a theater of operations; in defense of USSR borders; for performance of a soldier's duty in life-risking situations; and for activities against spies and subversive elements.
