Dagger with a polished nickel-plated steel blade, magnetic, with semi-sharp edges and a very sharp tip, designed with bevelled edges from the mid-point to the tip on both sides, the blade exhibiting scattered contact marks and surface wear and measuring 165 mm in length. The blade is embedded into a collar on the ricasso, the collar butting the quillion which has the traditional hook design. The handle is in a nickel-plated non-magnetic metal, incorporating a grip that consists of a series of engraved angled rules on both sides, the obverse of which bears the Falange insignia in red paint. The dagger is finished with a hooked pommel and measures 277 mm in length. The accompanying scabbard is in silvered metal, magnetic, with a snub-nose design, the interior lined in two strips of leather. There is a leather strap with a smooth black-finished upper, vertically-oriented, folded over to create two layers and secured to each other via a single rivet, the strap affixed to the reverse of the scabbard via two rivets, along with incorporating a horizontal strap with snap closure to wrap around the base of the dagger's pommel, the scabbard measuring 183 mm in length and exhibiting moderate surface wear, with crazing evident in the leather strap. Very fine.
