(Orden jugoslovenske zvezde). Instituted in 1954. Badge: multi-piece construction, the obverse centrepiece in bronze gilt with ten ruby-coloured stones forming the star that fronts a pentagon, the reverse centrepiece in silver gilt with red and white enamels, both centrepieces on a silver gilt base, hallmarked with a rooster beside "II" (.900 silver fineness) within a pentagon-shaped border on one side of the loop, the other side of the loop maker marked "IKOM", measuring 54.3 mm (w) x 60.5 mm (h), on its original full-length neck ribbon; and Breast Star: multi-piece construction, unmarked, the centrepiece in bronze gilt with ten ruby-coloured stones forming the star that fronts a pentagon, the centrepiece surrounded by a ornate wreath in silver, all of which is mounted to a five-sided silver star base that features ten points, the five major points incorporating five faceted pairs of emanating rays, the five lesser points incorporating three faceted pairs of emanating rays, measuring 73.2 mm (w) x 74.5 mm (h), vertical pinback. Both items with intact stones and enamels. Extremely fine.
