Germany, Kriegsmarine. A Sports Shirt

(Kriegsmarine Sporthemd). A well-preserved Kriegsmarine sports shirt, constructed of white cotton. The shirt is sleeveless and features dual shoulder straps. Stitched onto the chest is an insignia consisting of a white cotton backer bearing a machine-embroidered dark blue Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 22.5 cm (w) x 10 cm (h) overall. The shirt measures 36 cm (w) x 64 cm (l) when folded on a flat surface. Minor soiling consistent with period usage is evident, but the shirt remains in a near extremely fine condition.
