A pair of service badges, including an Infantry Assault Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 46.76 mm (w) x 61.50 mm (h), weighing 26.0 grams, with significant loss of silver finish and minor oxidation evident, in very fine condition, and; a General Assault Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, surrounded a central Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 42.65 mm (w) x 53.10 mm (h), weighing 31.6 grams, with near-total loss of silver finish evident, in very fine condition.
