Sweden, Kingdom. An Order of the North Star, 1st Class Grand Cross, by C.F. Carlman, c.1913

Grand Cross: Gold with blue, white, red and green enamels, unmarked, 55.2 mm (w) x 80 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, sewn in place to its original full-length sash, intact enamels; and Breast Star: silver, Type II style indicated by the scaled arms (1871-1919), unmarked, 75.5 mm (w) x 75.5 mm (h), vertical pinback. Extremely fine. In their hardshelled case of issue, maker marked "C.F. CARLMAN STOCKHOLM" on the inside, raised platform with a recessed medal bed, "STK.N.O." printed label and handwritten label dated "1913" affixed to the bottom, case also extremely fine. [C:41]
