Iraq, Kingdom. A King Faisal II Coronation Medal, II Class

(Nut al-Tohija). Instituted May 2, 1953. In silver, a small round medal presenting the bust of King Faisal II on the obverse, the reverse inscription translates to “Coronation year 1372 H-1953M”, measures 32.9mm (w) x 39.3mm (h – inclusive of suspension), weighs 28.5 grams, worn on original ribbon with pinback, light wear, small scratches to obverse, remains in near extremely fine condition.
