(Luftwaffe Fliegerbluse). This is an extremely well-preserved Luftwaffe Flak/Artillery service blouse, constructed of black wool. The collar is flanked on each side by red wool tabs, both bearing a single zink insignia, measuring 40 mm (w) x 58 mm (l). The cuff of each arm has a vertical slit, closing at the wrist area with a pebbled magnetic metal button meeting a reinforced buttonhole. Each breast has a pocket opening with a horizontal flap and reinforced buttonhole meeting a pebbled magnetic metal button. Above the right breast pocket is an insignia in the form of a silver, machine-embroidered Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika on a black rayon backer. The insignia measures 65 mm (w) x 38 mm 9h). The tunic is closed with five pebbled magnetic metal buttons on the right breast flap meeting an equal number of reinforced buttonholes on the left breast flap. The interior presents plain, and is fully lined with a light grey rayon liner, along with an integrated rayon loop at the rear of the collar. It is unmarked and measures approximately 435 mm across the shoulders, with an arm length of 585 mm and an overall body length of 610 mm. Minor material fatigue is evident, but the blouse is in an otherwise extremely fine condition.
