This bayonet features a 548 mm long steel blade, with a bright finish and a semi-sharp tip, the bayonet exhibiting three sets of markings beside the socket, the right side with two sets of three each of foreign markings, the underside marked with the Arabic number "١٣٦" (139), the blade measuring 548 mm long, numbered "247" on the bronze socket beside the aforementioned two sets of foreign markings, the bayonet measuring 638 mm in length. The bayonet is housed in its original scabbard with a black finished leather body, bearing two large brass rivets between the locket and chape, both of which are also in brass, the throat secured in place to the locket with frog stud via two rivets, the scabbard measuring 560 mm in length. The accompanying frog is in a white finished leather, well-stitched, composed of a single piece folded-over, with a second forming a pouch on the lower portion on the front, the pouch with a strap with slider and buckle to secure the frog stud on the scabbard in place, eight rivets with prongs evident on the reverse that secure the pieces together, the frog measuring 225 mm in length. The blade exhibits moderate contact marks and surface wear, the scabbard with discolouration and contact marks on the brass fixtures, the frog with crazing evident in the leather along with marks present on the reverse.
