1. A Black Grade award, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “103” for August Tham, Gablonz, measuring 36.98 mm (w) x 44.20 mm (h), weighing 11.8 grams, with minor loss of finish evident, an example by an uncommon manufacturer with a clear mark in very fine condition.

2. A Silver Grade award, constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a clip hinge and flat tapering vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “30” for the Vienna Mint, measuring 36.32 mm (w) x 43.82 mm (h), weighing 33.9 grams, in extremely fine condition.

3. A Gold Grade award, constructed of a gilded zink alloy, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting an integral catch, unmarked, measuring 36.56 mm (w) x 44.18 mm (h), weighing 24.3 grams, with minor loss of finish and oxidation evident, in near extremely fine condition.
