Germany, Wehrmacht. A Lot of Belt Buckles for Enlisted Personnel and Non-Commissioned Officers

(Wehrmacht Gürtelschnallen für Mannschaften und Unteroffizier). A mixed lot of three Wehrmacht EM/NCO belt buckles, including:

 

1. A Heer buckle, constructed of grey painted magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a central raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, set within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) with oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, maker marked with the logo of Noelle & Hueck, Lüdenscheid, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

 

2. A Luftwaffe buckle, constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a central raised Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, set within an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, maker marked with the logo of Josef Feix & Söhne, Gablonz, the claws retaining an original brown leather strap, similarly marked with a Josex Feix & Söhne maker’s mark, circumscribing a date of “1939”, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.

 

3. A second Luftwaffe buckle, constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a central raised Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, set within an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, maker marked with the logo of Johannes Deutschbein, Euskirchen, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
