Finely etched and engraved image is of L. Demacy in his military uniform, wearing the Order of the Legion of Honour bearing the crown used during the July Monarchy (1830-1848) on his left breast, labelled "L. Demacy" and dated "1846" by the artist below the image, printed in black ink on a white paper stock, the image area measuring 80 mm (w) x 95 mm (h), spotting evident on the image, housed under glass in a gold-coloured finished wooden frame with loop for wall hanging on the reverse, the frame measuring 116.3 mm (w) x 156 mm (h), near extremely fine.
