A scarce and high-quality commemorative silver platter, featuring a cascading bowl surrounding a flat disc, the former bearing a finely-engraved standard flag of the Landespolizei General Göring, topped by a dedication of “IN TREUE! DER STAB DER L.P.G. WEST 21. 6. 1934”, situated above the engraved and personalized signatures of members of the Staff of District West, the reverse stamped with a silver content number of “835”, a crown and crescent moon indicating German manufacture, and the hallmark of Bruckmann & Söhne, Heilbronn, measuring 30 cm in diameter, weighing 397.8 grams, with minor age-appropriate tarnishing evident, a rare commemorative item from a notable unit in extremely fine condition.
