(Afrikakorps Kriegsgefangener Fingerring in Silber). Constructed of silver, the exterior featuring a central raised oval medallion bearing an engraved monogram, circumscribed by an inscription of “GERMAN PRISONERS OF WAR - CAMP ELLIS U.S.A.”, flanked on the left by a palm tree set within an inscription of “AFRIKA 1941” and on the right by skyscrapers set within an inscription of “ELLIS 1943”, the interior stamped with an inscription of “STERLING” for 925 silver content, corresponding to a size 8, weighing 12.6 grams, with a crack visible to the band, a unique commemorative POW ring in near extremely fine condition.
