A HIAG (Mutual Aid Association of Former Waffen-SS Members) Tracing Service file for SS-Sturmmann Gerhard Lindenblatt, who was born on 30 May 1925 in Altvierzighuben (Alt Vierzighuben), Allenstein, East Prussia (now Olsztyn region, Poland). Lindenblatt served with the 22nd SS Cavalry Division Maria Theresia, with his family receiving a final communication on 13 December 1944, and with his last known whereabouts cited as 16 January 1945 in Budapest during the Red Army siege. The document retains a black-and-white studio photo of Lindenblatt in a civilian suit. Measuring 21 cm (w) x 15 cm (h), it remains in an extremely fine condition.
